Effective Date: January 1, 2026 Welcome to Anomalous. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Anomalous application, websites, services, software, databases, AI systems, maps, research tools, community features, and related content (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Cobble Network, Inc. ("Cobble," "Anomalous," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional policies or service-specific terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services. The Services include investigative tools, AI-assisted research systems, collaborative team features, mapping systems, data visualization tools, user-generated content, and informational resources. Certain features of the Services may generate content using artificial intelligence, statistical systems, randomness generators, or user-provided inputs. Such outputs are generated automatically and should not be considered factual, scientific, medical, legal, psychological, paranormal, or professional advice. The Services may include features intended for exploration, creative experimentation, entertainment, education, research, and citizen-science activities. Features such as AI conversations, channeling tools, talking board simulations, randomness-based tools, and other interactive systems are provided for informational, experimental, and entertainment purposes only. Users should not interpret outputs as communications from supernatural entities, extraterrestrial intelligences, spirits, deceased persons, or any other non-human source. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account or use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information and location data. Although the Privacy Policy is not part of these Terms, it is an important document that you should review carefully before using the Services. Additional terms may apply to specific Services, subscriptions, beta programs, APIs, integrations, community features, or future products offered by Cobble Network, Inc. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any service-specific terms, the service-specific terms will control for that particular feature or service.
Privacy and Location Data
Certain features of the Services depend upon location information, mapping services, user-submitted observations, field investigations, and environmental data. These features may allow users to discover nearby reports, view anomalies on maps, participate in citizen-science projects, document investigations, contribute observations, or utilize location-aware tools. To provide these features, we may collect, process, and store location information when you choose to enable location services. Location sharing is voluntary and may be disabled through your device settings or account preferences, although doing so may limit certain functionality. We collect, use, store, and protect personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that certain features require the processing of location and related data to function as intended. Anomalous is designed to support research, documentation, exploration, and community collaboration. Users remain solely responsible for their decisions, movements, investigations, and activities conducted in the real world while using the Services.
Who We Are
Anomalous is a citizen-science research platform owned and operated by Cobble Network, Inc., a Kentucky-based technology company focused on building tools that help individuals and communities explore, document, understand, and preserve information. Our mission is to empower independent researchers, investigators, and curious minds with access to advanced technology, collaborative tools, and large-scale archives that support the study of anomalies, folklore, unexplained events, historical mysteries, and related phenomena. We believe that meaningful discoveries often emerge from the careful collection of observations, open inquiry, and collaboration among diverse communities. Through Anomalous, users can access research archives, mapping systems, investigative tools, artificial intelligence assistants, collaborative team features, field documentation systems, and citizen-science initiatives designed to help organize and analyze information at a scale that would otherwise be difficult for individuals to achieve alone. Anomalous does not claim to verify, endorse, or prove the existence of any particular phenomenon, belief system, theory, or explanation. Rather, the platform exists to facilitate investigation, documentation, research, discussion, and exploration of reported experiences and observations. This section applies only to Feedback and does not alter ownership rights in your Content as described elsewhere in these Terms.
Enforcement and Protection of the Services
We are committed to maintaining the integrity, reliability, security, and availability of the Services for all users. Any attempt to disrupt, interfere with, manipulate, exploit, abuse, or compromise the Services constitutes a violation of these Terms and may also violate applicable civil or criminal laws. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:
- Circumventing security controls, authentication systems, subscription restrictions, payment systems, or rate limits.
- Attempting unauthorized access to systems, databases, APIs, administrative interfaces, or user accounts.
- Scraping, harvesting, exporting, or systematically collecting data from the Services without authorization.

- Creating fraudulent accounts or impersonating users.
- Submitting fabricated evidence, false witness statements, manipulated recordings, spoofed location data, or intentionally misleading reports.
- Using the Services to train, develop, or improve competing databases, archives, artificial intelligence systems, or commercial products without authorization.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by law, to investigate suspected violations, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, restrict access to features, preserve evidence, cooperate with law enforcement authorities, pursue civil remedies, and take any other action reasonably necessary to protect the Services, our users, our intellectual property, and our business interests. Nothing in these Terms obligates Cobble Network, Inc. to monitor all user activity, communications, content, or investigations. However, we reserve the right to do so when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with legal obligations, investigate misconduct, protect user safety, or maintain the integrity of the Services.
Paid Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing
Subscription Plans
Certain features of the Services require a paid subscription. Subscription plans may include access to premium features, artificial intelligence tools, investigative resources, team functionality, monthly credit allocations, storage allowances, or other benefits as described at the time of purchase. Subscription features, pricing, credit allocations, and benefits may vary by plan and may be modified from time to time in accordance with these Terms.
Billing and Automatic Renewal
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Cobble Network, Inc. and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees, taxes, and charges. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until canceled. You authorize us to automatically charge your payment method on each renewal date for the then-current subscription price and any applicable taxes. You are responsible for maintaining current, complete, and accurate billing information. If a payment fails, is declined, is disputed, or cannot be processed, we may:
- Retry the payment.
- Suspend access to premium features.
- Restrict access to credit-based services.
- Downgrade your account.
- Terminate your subscription.
Credits
Certain features of the Services operate using credits. Credits may be granted through:
- Subscription plans.
- Promotional programs.
- Beta testing programs.
- Referral programs.
- Special events.
- Purchased credit packs.
- Other programs authorized by Cobble Network, Inc.
Credits may be consumed when using designated Services, including but not limited to:
- Artificial intelligence features.
- Investigative tools.
- Witness interview processing.
- Research reports.
- Briefing generation.
- Advanced archive analysis.
- Team features.
- Other credit-enabled functionality.
The number of credits required for a particular feature may change at any time. Credits have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and do not constitute personal property. Except where required by law, credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged, sold, traded, or transferred between users.
Nature of Credits
Credits are a measurement of access to certain Services and functionality offered through the platform. Credits do not represent ownership of any specific amount of computing power, artificial intelligence inference, storage capacity, processing time, network resources, or other technical resources. The computational resources, infrastructure requirements, and operating costs associated with particular features may vary over time. Accordingly, Cobble Network, Inc. reserves the right to modify how credits are allocated, earned, consumed, valued, or required for particular Services. Nothing in these Terms guarantees that a specific feature, tool, report, AI interaction, witness analysis, archive search, or other Service will require the same number of credits indefinitely.
Purchased Credit Packs
From time to time, users may be permitted to purchase additional credits separately from a subscription. Purchased credits are intended solely for use within the Services and are subject to these Terms. Unless required by applicable law, purchased credits are non-refundable once added to an account.
Promotional and Beta Credits
Promotional credits, bonus credits, referral credits, beta-user credits, and other complimentary credits are provided solely at our discretion. We may modify, revoke, expire, replace, or discontinue such credits at any time. Promotional credits have no cash value and may be subject to additional limitations or expiration dates.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or applicable payment provider. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically generate refunds for prior payments. Unless otherwise required by law, subscription fees, credit purchases, and other payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, your subscription benefits will remain available until the end of the current billing period, after which your account may be downgraded to the applicable free tier, if available.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices, credit allocations, credit costs, feature availability, or plan structures. If a subscription price increase affects your current subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice before the change becomes effective. Price increases will generally take effect on your next renewal date, allowing you an opportunity to cancel before the updated pricing applies.
Beta Users and Legacy Plans
We may offer special pricing, grandfathered plans, beta-user benefits, promotional access, or legacy subscription arrangements. Such programs are offered at our discretion and may be modified, replaced, or discontinued upon reasonable notice. Nothing in these Terms guarantees the indefinite continuation of any specific pricing, benefit, promotional program, or subscription structure.

Cobble Network, Inc. makes no representation or warranty regarding the existence of any paranormal, supernatural, extraterrestrial, spiritual, psychic, or unexplained phenomenon discussed within the Services. Users are solely responsible for how they interpret, evaluate, and act upon any content generated by the Services. Outputs should not be relied upon for medical, psychological, legal, financial, religious, safety-related, or other significant real-world decisions. If a user experiences distress, confusion, anxiety, emotional discomfort, or concerns regarding content generated by the Services, they should discontinue use of the feature and seek assistance from an appropriate qualified professional if necessary.
Suspension, Termination, and Account Closure
Termination by You
You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your account subject to any applicable account closure procedures. Termination of your account does not automatically entitle you to refunds, credit reimbursement, or compensation.
Termination by Us

- You have violated these Terms.
- You have violated applicable law.
- You have engaged in fraud, abuse, harassment, or deceptive conduct.

We may also terminate inactive accounts after an extended period of inactivity, subject to applicable law and reasonable notice where practicable.
Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may contact our support team and request review of the decision. Submission of an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement.
Discontinuation of Services
We reserve the right to discontinue, replace, suspend, or permanently shut down any feature, service, subscription plan, credit program, or portion of the Services at any time. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide advance notice of material discontinuations. If Cobble Network, Inc. permanently discontinues a paid Service for which users have prepaid and no substantially equivalent replacement is provided, we may provide a prorated refund, service credit, or other remedy at our discretion or as required by applicable law. Except where required by law, Cobble Network, Inc. shall not be liable for losses arising from the modification, replacement, suspension, or discontinuation of any portion of the Services.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Agreement
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT, PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL. BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE MOST DISPUTES THROUGH BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AS DESCRIBED BELOW.
Informal Resolution First
Before initiating arbitration or legal proceedings, you and Cobble Network, Inc. agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally. If you have a dispute with us, you agree to first send written notice describing:
- Your name and contact information.
- The email address associated with your account.
- A description of the dispute.
- The relief requested.
The notice may be submitted through our designated support or legal contact channels. We will attempt to resolve the dispute through informal discussions. If the dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days after notice is received, either party may proceed with arbitration or any other remedy permitted by these Terms. The applicable statute of limitations shall be tolled during this informal resolution period.
Agreement to Arbitrate
Except as otherwise provided in these Terms, you and Cobble Network, Inc. agree that any dispute, claim, controversy, or cause of action arising out of or relating to:
- The Services;
- Your account;
- Any subscription, payment, or credit purchase;
- Content submitted through the Services;
- Artificial intelligence outputs;
- Field investigations;
- Witness interview features;
- Privacy or data practices;
- These Terms;
shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration rather than in court. This agreement applies regardless of whether the dispute arises under contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, negligence, or any other legal theory. The Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision.
Arbitration Procedure
The arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. Unless otherwise required by applicable law:
- Arbitration may be conducted remotely by video conference, telephone, written submissions, or another mutually agreed method.
- A single arbitrator shall preside over the dispute.
- The arbitrator shall have authority to award any remedy available under applicable law on an individual basis.
The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court having jurisdiction.
Exceptions
The following disputes are not subject to mandatory arbitration:
- Individual claims filed in small claims court.
- Actions seeking injunctive relief relating to unauthorized access, misuse, abuse, or infringement of intellectual property rights.
- Actions required by applicable law to remain in court.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary injunctive relief necessary to prevent immediate and irreparable harm.
Class Action Waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND COBBLE NETWORK, INC. AGREE THAT:
- CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY.
- NEITHER PARTY MAY PARTICIPATE AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN A CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, CONSOLIDATED ACTION, REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION.
- THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS OR PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
ONLY INDIVIDUAL RELIEF MAY BE AWARDED.
Jury Trial Waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND COBBLE NETWORK, INC. KNOWINGLY, VOLUNTARILY, AND IRREVOCABLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL FOR ANY CLAIM OR DISPUTE COVERED BY THESE TERMS.
Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Venue for Non-Arbitrable Claims
To the extent a claim is permitted to proceed in court rather than arbitration, you and Cobble Network, Inc. agree that the state and federal courts located in Kentucky shall have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Severability
If any portion of this Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. However, if the Class Action Waiver is determined to be unenforceable with respect to a particular claim, then that claim shall proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction rather than arbitration.
